This page is dedicated to that frozen, fluffy white goodness that falls in abundance each winter in the high peaks of Colorado. From yo-yoing Chairs 8 and 9 at Loveland Basin to touring into high, backcountry stashes, this page will serve to document many of the year's skiing highlights.

Early Season News!
Justin got four reservations at the Friends Hut for January 30 - February 1, 2009! The Friends Hut, located between Crested Butte and Aspen, is one of the most remote backcountry huts in Colorado and boasts some crazy ass terrain and spectacular views. We have been wanting to visit this hut for a few years and it looks like 2009 will be our year. Wahoo!

The air is getting a little colder here in Colorado and the snow will soon be flying in the high country. I'll be ramping up my skiing blog for 2008/2009 soon, so stay tuned!
