Colorado has the distinguished honor of having more mountain peaks over 14,000 feet than any other state in the lower 48 states. There are 54 fourteeners in Colorado divided into seven different mountain ranges. I have successfully summited the twenty-two 14ers highlighted in bold below.

My quest to climb all of Colorado's 14ers was put on temporary hold in October 2001 due to the birth of our daughter Lena and the subsequent arrival of our son Evan in 2004. I intend on picking the rest of them off before I croak, though. Maybe I'll even have two new climbing partners by then too!
