Welcome to everything Maynes Family Colorado! This summer has started off busy. The kids are involved in many activities...Lena is on the Highlands Ranch Seahawks Swim Team and Evan is learning the fundamentals of the game of baseball as a member of the Highlands Ranch Eagles.
NEW! Boothbay Harbor Vacation 2010
We just returned from Maine where we spent an activity filled 7 days in Boothbay Harbor visiting "Nana and Papa". The kids had an awesome time and got to see and do some really unique stuff. Brian and Delana did a fair amount of kayaking, and even Lena did a little solo kayaking using an adult-sized boat and paddle!

Maine Vacation, June 30 - July 7
We recently returned from our vacation to Maine where we spent 7 days in beautiful Boothbay Harbor. The kids had an awesome time and Nana and Papa were gracious hosts as always. Check out the best photos from our trip...
Evan's First T-ball Game, June 5
Evan played in his first "official" t-ball game today with the Highlands Ranch Eagles. He hit the ball pretty well and even got to field a couple grounders. Mostly it was about learning about the game and having fun. Check out Evan's T-ball video...
Lena's First Swim Meet, June 5
Lena had her first non-competitive swim meet today as a member of the Highlands Ranch Seahawks Swim Team. She raced in 4 different disciplines...the butterfly, freestyle, backstroke, and breaststroke. She did great! Check out Lena's race videos...

Evan learns to ride his bike!, May 28
Moments after his kindergarten graduation, Evan decided it was time to ride his bike for the first time. It was a momentous occasion, caught on video for your viewing pleasure. Now Evan is putting the pressure on his sister to learn to ride her bike so he has someone to ride with. Check out the video...

After a long year or grueling reading, writing, and arithmetic, Evan successfully completed kindergarten and is already looking forward to elementary school and the 1st grade! Check out some of the photos from his graduation ceremony. Video coming soon!
Kid climbing in Three Sisters Park, May 22
This past weekend, Brian took the kids out to Three Sisters Park in Evergreen for some climbing practice. It was a beautiful day and Lena had fun climbing while Evan did some exploring. Lena is now working on being lowered off the top of climbs, and soon she will attempt short rappels.
